Media Center

IntelliCast also has an answer for those clients interested in designing and building their own applications. IntelliCast exposes delivery services to client development teams through the same production web services interface it uses to implement its own systems. In addition, IntelliCast offers a web-based user interface for clients to manage the development, customization and delivery of applications.

IntelliCast offers Media Center, a multi-channel and bi-directional communications service package with all of the necessary delivery interfaces and sophisticated network management to support high-volume inbound and outbound communications through your network of choice.

Additionally, Media Center can perform channel-specific formatting of message content to allow information to be delivered based on customer preferences. Media Center is also platform agnostic and can deliver messages to third-party networks including internal networks, VoIP channels, international telecommunications providers, email and any other delivery channels that can accept a formatted payload. 

Some of the key features of Media Center include:

Flexibility – Media Center is IntelliCast’s delivery network used with our Express, Freestyle and Platinum applications, but we also package Media Center for our clients to use as a stand alone delivery service for programs that already exist today. This stand alone service uses a published and well documented XML-based SOAP API, which will have you up and running in no time.

Scalability – Media Center utilizes a fully scaleable and redundant architecture to deliver hundreds of millions of messages each year. Our voice platform alone has access to over 65,000 ports for simultaneous voice deliveries, which equates to over 7.8 million 30-second calls per hour. Additionally, should you have event higher capacity needs, channels can be  scaled independent of other channels providing quick and easy options to address new capacity requirements

Interactive – Media Center can capture a response for a message across each type of communication channel, allowing for both voice and text interactions with customers and real-time dispositions.

Redundant – Media Center is both site- and server-redundant and designed for seamless fail-over. IntelliCast regularly tests its business continuity and disaster recovery plans and procedures.

Highly Available – IntelliCast consistently maintains a 99+% uptime rate.

Operations Support – IntelliCast’s 24x7x365 Operations Team maintains Media Center in state-of-the-art data centers with the very latest disaster recovery technologies, including multi-telco and diesel generator back-up support. Additionally, IntelliCast employs an automated “health service” alerting system that monitors the various components of Media Center.
